Leading on a specific area of the English Curriculum and aid the Curriculum Team Leader in the implementation of the subject vision whilst promoting a love of English across all key stages.
Monitoring and improving academic progress and outcomes for students
Supporting colleagues with assessment, feedback, and inclusive practice
Working collaboratively with curriculum leaders to raise standards

Teach English across the ability range
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that promote excellent pupil outcomes
Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and support student progress
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
Is a qualified teacher (applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers welcomed)
Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
Is reflective, resilient, and committed to professional development
Has the potential or experience to lead and influence others (for TLR consideration)
