At NY Highways, you'll train as a Vehicle Technician while earning a salary, gaining real-world experience from day one in a busy workshop environment. You'll learn how to maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles that help keep North Yorkshire moving. What you'll be doing As an Apprentice Vehicle Technician, you'll build practical skills while working alongside experienced technicians. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Carrying out vehicle servicing and safety checks
Assisting with MOT inspections and identifying wear and tear
Repairing and replacing engine and vehicle components
Using diagnostic tools to identify faults
Preparing vehicles for maintenance and ensuring they meet safety standards
Following health and safety procedures in a workshop environment
