We are looking for a proactive and organised Design Technology Technician to support our thriving DT department. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in preparing resources, maintaining workshops and equipment, and helping to create engaging practical learning experiences for students. Working closely with teaching staff, you will help ensure a safe, innovative and well-resourced learning environment.,

Prepare, set up and clear away materials, tools, equipment and resources required for lessons and practical activities.
Provide technical support to staff and students during practical Design Technology activities, as required.
Organise, monitor and maintain departmental resources, materials and equipment.
Support the maintenance of a safe working environment in accordance with Health and Safety legislation and academy policies.

5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent.
Understanding of health and safety requirements within practical learning environments.
Ability to prepare and maintain materials, tools and equipment to a high standard.
Ability to demonstrate, role model and inspire a passion for learning
