We are looking to recruit a reception / office admin apprentice to work alongside experienced office staff and undertake the following duties:

Maintaining office systems, including data management and filing Meeting and greeting visitors, parents and pupils Answering phone calls, Screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate. Liaising with parents / carers and other contacts to school Escorting pupils to class / collecting from class Delivering items to classes Checking diaries and making entries where appropriate. Provide general office support to Head Teacher, Business Manager, Secretary and Teachers Maintaining school online systems Support in the preparation of meetings and events Attending meetings where relevant

Eagerness to learn Excellent communication skills relevant to both children and adults Good organisational skills Strong understanding of the need for confidentiality and safeguarding Good telephone manner Willingness to work as part of a team but able to manage own workload Reliable Smart appearance Professional attitude A level of maturity with working in a school environment will be required Ambitious and hard working Desire to be a positive role model to young people Punctual and good time management
