This is a hands-on, people-focused role where no two days are the same. Based at Bruton Park, you'll be working in a community setting that supports individuals who may have experienced homelessness or difficult life circumstances. You'll be a consistent, supportive presence, helping residents feel safe, valued, and empowered as they rebuild confidence, develop independent living skills, and move towards more stable futures. What you'll be doing

Building positive, trusting relationships with residents
Supporting people to develop independent living skills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, tenancy management)
Encouraging access to education, volunteering, apprenticeships, and employment
Helping residents connect with key services (healthcare, mental health, benefits, substance misuse support)
Creating a safe, calm and supportive environment overnight
Keeping accurate records using IT systems

You don't need to have done this exact job before but you do need the right mindset.
Empathy and a genuine understanding of people facing homelessness
Resilience and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive, self-motivated approach
Basic IT skills (training provided on systems)
