Four Winds Equestrian is a BHS approved Riding school & Livery yard near Spalding, Lincs. They are looking for a senior equine groom to join their team. This is the ideal apprenticeship for someone looking to further develop their career in the equine industry.

About the Employer

With a lifelong passion for horses Paula started Fourwinds Equestrian Centre lover 40 years ago way before the internet and facebook. Having successfully competed at novice and intermediate eventing, Paula now focuses on dressage. She is still actively involved in teaching within the riding school, from beginner to advanced level. Paula is responsible for the staff and student training, is a qualified assessor and verifier for NVQs.

What You'll Do

All usual yard duties would be included such as:

Applicants must already have good foundation skills and knowledge of working with horses but there will be plenty of support to improve. Also, opportunity for regular lessons and chance to compete at our shows

Turning out and bringing in
Keeping the yard clean and tidy

Training Outcome

Working Arrangements

Working Week: Final shift pattern to be discussed and agreed with the successful applicant. There is no accommodation or livery available on-site so please ensure you are able to make your way to and from the yard each day.
