Senior Data Manager

37 hours per week

Term Time Only (plus 8 days)

Scale SO1/SO2 (points 23-28) - Actual salary £29,302 - £33,323

This is an exciting time to join the founding team of a brand-new school, Trinity Academy Leeds as it continues to grow and develop. Trinity Academy Leeds opened its doors in September 2021 to 240 students from across the city and has already established a strong culture of excellence where all staff are united under the same shared mission, to enrich and strengthen the life choices and chances of the young people in east Leeds and beyond. We had our first Ofsted inspection in May 2024 and achieved 'outstanding in all areas'.

Trinity Academy Leeds is part of a wider family of schools, Trinity Multi Academy Trust. TMAT is proud to have transformed the life chances of thousands of pupils across its existing academies, and our core values of Empathy, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility run through all aspects of academy life. Our secondary schools consistently achieve academic results which place them in the top 10% of highest performing schools in the country and receive national and international recognition for the quality of their provision.

We are now seeking a Senior Data Manager to support the development and maintenance of the Management Information System (MIS) and all other data resources within the Academy. As Data Manager you will support the Assistant Principal with the production, management and revision of key data analysis for academy self-evaluation, including but not limited to student progress and attainment, data published in national performance tables, attendance and behaviour data. You will also take lead on the collection and checking of data for school census submissions as well as source and confidently present and communicate a range of national sources of education data for a range of stakeholders, including the Senior Leadership team.

What can we offer you?

  • Full support from a friendly team
  • Support with development and career progression
  • A chance to change the lives of young people from deprived socio-economic backgrounds
  • A range of staff benefits including cycle to work scheme, reduced cost health scheme and access to the West Yorkshire Pension Fund.

What we need?

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent plus English and Maths GCSEs at grade 5 / C or above, or have significant relevant experience of working in data analysis
  • Evidence of working effectively as a member of a team
  • Skilled in the application of ICT packages for efficient and effective data management and administration
  • Experience of school data production and management would be an advantage but is not essential

Start date: September 2025

Closing date: 8am, Thursday 26th June 2025

Interviews: To be confirmed

Trinity Multi-Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are made subject to an enhanced DBS check. We are an equal opportunities employer and want our staff profile to reflect the community we serve.
