You will be responsible for the full day-to-day operation of specific areas in the tray set-up department and liaising with other departments to achieve daily targets (E.g. Kitchen, Pastry, Assembly, Stores, Planning etc.)

Ensuring operations adhere to all SOP's and ALL relevant Critical Control Points, Health and Safety, Food safety and all legal requirements. Ensuring compliant to unannounced audits
Defining systems of working to ensure quality of product, problems are resolved with solutions and continuous improvement initiatives are instigated.
Providing reports on productivity and other performance indicators to management
Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with all section supervisors, ensuring the provision of a positive and professional service that elevates the DO & CO reputation and any highlighted problems have an implemented solution.
Driving success by proactively managing team performance, providing development and succession planning opportunities.
Proactively taking steps to ensure own skills and knowledge continue to improve in all aspects including technical and leadership.
Accountable for the training of the staff for the shift and for records of re-trainings.
Report to department managers on any staff that do not comply with the department standard operation procedures.
Forward, strategic thinking leader always looking to exceed targets and expectations of the department whilst maintaining the collectiveness of the team and culture of DO & CO (Ensure OTIF performance is maintained)
Maintaining good working relationships with all DO & CO family members.
Managing Labour with allocated budget as well as precise and accurate reporting to Department Managers

Previous experience in a similar role or experience within a fresh food industry related sector
