The Southfield Trust is seeking dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant team in a rewarding educational environment. We offer the opportunity to work in an urban setting, supporting a diverse group of SEN students to achieve their full potential., As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our teachers and engaging with our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the preparation and delivery of lessons

Providing support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete tasks

Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Monitoring and recording student progress

Assisting with the management of classroom resources and setup

We are looking for candidates who have:

A genuine passion for education and the well-being of children

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff

Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude

Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent) are desirable but not essential

This is a fixed term contract until 23rd July 2024 with the possibility of an extension.

The paid hours of work are 30 per week (6 hours each day) - Monday to Friday

This is a term time only post which is paid for 45.05 weeks per year.

As this post is part time / term time only the salary will be pro rata of the full-time figure (£22,737) and is £15,927 per year.
