Responsibilities

Strategize, develop, implement, and monitor business goals, operating plans, and budgets for top-line sales, gross profit growth, and long-term growth.

Implement processes and procedures to facilitate organizational growth and profit objectives.

Monitor sales levels within the assigned region and target areas for improvement.

Prepare and monitor annual sales forecasts to achieve sales goals, including Profit and Loss (P&L) reviews.

Review business plans and Year-to-Date (YTD) performance with management.

Provide coaching to team members and make sales calls jointly to ensure optimal customer relationships.

Lead and manage the assigned territory and sales support staff, including hiring, performance management, training, and salary administration.

Create demand for products and services by applying technical knowledge to recommend solutions that position the company as the distributor of choice.

Communicate value-added capabilities and services to customers.

Establish and coordinate weekly meetings for opportunity, registration, and design reviews, including quarterly business reviews with sales management.

Contribute to budget development and performance standards for the department and direct reports.

Maintain current knowledge of products, competitors, technology, and customers in the assigned product family.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in a similar role with strong people management skills.

Ability to motivate and drive the performance of a sales team.

Capability to plan and manage regional budgets to meet commercial targets.

A highly methodical and process-driven individual.

Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to work autonomously, managing competing priorities and delivering results.

Willingness to travel to customer sites and meetings.
