variety and job satisfaction, ICT technicians provide 1st line support to look after school IT equipment, install, order and maintain software and hardware and provide technical support to teachers and pupils. ICT technicians work in a hub as part of the trust wide IT team and support the staff and pupils within our schools.
resolving IT issues reported through our service desk ticketing system
assisting in the maintenance of the school's network
installing new software and upgrading existing applications
providing technical support for teachers and pupils
running diagnostics maintaining hardware peripherals (e.g. visualisers, printers, external drives)
