Reporting to the Officer Manager, the Receptionist / Office Administrator will play a key role in being the first point of contact for members and non-members, by telephone, email or visiting the BMA Wales office. This is a varied role where you will oversee the reception desk and administration duties, assisting with events and meetings together with elements of running the office in conjunction with the Office Manager.,

Act as first point of contact for all members, non-members and stakeholders contacting BMA Cymru Wales by telephone/email
Assist with arranging meetings with external stakeholders
Provide IT support for meetings in the office or hybrid
To be responsible for ordering stationery, kitchen supplies and other office items
Day to day management of office maintenance
Update Health and Safety information as required relating to the office
Organise any travel for team members as required
Assist with recruitment events, ordering and posting materials to sites and activists
To arrange the individual team meetings; including agenda, taking notes and an action list
Provide wider administrative support to teams in Cymru Wales when required

Experience as a Receptionist, Office Administrator or equivalent role
Excellent administrative and organisational skills
Experience with inbox management
Experience in taking and preparing meeting notes and actions
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience and knowledge of the full MS Office suite is required including: Microsoft Teams, Word, Outlook and Excel.
Experience in event organisation would be desirable
