What You'll Do

Welcome and assist customers, visitors and meeting room users
Support customers face-to-face, by telephone and by email
Help manage meeting room bookings and maintain booking records
Prepare and send invoices and assist with general office administration
Use computer systems to update customer information and records
Prepare meeting rooms ready for customer use
Set up tables, chairs and equipment for meetings and events
Prepare and serve refreshments for meetings and conferences
Support the delivery of events and activities within the building
Check meeting rooms after use and return them to the required standard
Help keep customer areas clean, tidy and welcoming
Carry out filing, scanning, printing and document preparation tasks
Work alongside experienced colleagues and learn how a busy venue operates
Identify and report maintenance or facilities issues
Develop professional communication, customer service and organisational skills

Training Outcome

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to progress into a permanent full-time role within Meeting Point House, subject to business needs and individual performance.
