Job Description

New opportunity for a Hygienist to join our established orthodontic specialist practice, Clearly Orthodontics, LE5 1AE. CLEARLY Orthodontics is one of Leicestershire's leading orthodontic practices. A well-established training practice we provide the highest quality treatments and care in a beautiful converted coach house on Main Street, Leicester. Now seeking a direct access Hygienist to join the team!

The opportunity

A new position which could start as 1 day per month, building to bi weekly / weekly once the books and demand increases
We can be flexible with surgery space on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays
You will receive internal referrals and will be supporting a range of patients 1) to ensure stable hygiene so that orthodontic treatment can commence 2) to support patients as they undergo their orthodontic journey 3) post treatment, our intention is that they have such a good experience they want to keep visiting you even when their treatment has completed. 4) you will also have the opportunity to treat patients in need of a high-quality local Hygienist who aren't having ortho treatment
A modern and bright clinic all surgeries have windows
We have iTero scanner, OPG, SOE software and Dental Monitoring
Free parking is available and the practice is just a few miles away from the train station
This is a direct access role within an orthodontic specialist practice as such there will be no GDPs onsite
Ideal for those who are used to direct access and would enjoy the autonomy of launching this service within the practice, where all patients are directed your way as the solo Hygienist

Essential Requirements

Applicants are required to be a GDC registered Hygienist, or a Dental Therapist happy to work as a Hygienist - with right to work in the UK (please note sponsorship not available for this role).

As this is a direct access role all applicants are required to have 1) exemption training 2) radiography and 3) be indemnified for direct access.

As this is a new role building a patient base we are seeking applications from those who are wanting to have an input in this. Someone proactive, with ideas who is dedicated to making the role a success and working with the practice team who will also support.
