Anticoagulant Monitoring Nurse / Pharmacy Technician - York
Closing date for applications: Thursday 12th June 2025
Part Time, 22.5 hours per week, Fixed Term 1 year Maternity cover
IntraHealth is one of the UK's leading providers of NHS Primary and Community Care services. We serve a range of patients across our three divisions of Primary Care (general practice), Pharmacy and Clinical Services which includes anticoagulation monitoring, patient medication reviews and childhood immunisation programmes.
We are a well-established organisation having provided NHS services since 1999. We operate NHS services across the North East, Yorkshire, the midlands and North West. Our team is made up of a wide range of healthcare professionals and administrative roles including GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Nurses, Pharmacists, Health Care Assistants (HCAs) and local administration teams. Our frontline teams are supported by a centralised back office function; providing executive, finance, HR, administration and data analysis support.
IntraHealth is currently recruiting an AMS Pharmacy Technician or AMS Nurse to work in our Anticoagulant Monitoring Service clinics and to carry out home visits within our York Anticoagulant Monitoring Service.
We are looking for an AMS Pharmacy Technician or AMS Nurse to join our team:
- who are enthusiastic and committed to working with patients;
- who want to join an award-winning team;
- who have good communication and interpersonal skills;
- who have been qualified for at least 3 years.
You will work autonomously, but also as part of the wider team. No previous anticoagulant experience is needed as comprehensive training and mentorship is provided. There may also be opportunities to develop portfolio working as our range of local services grows.
Our aim is to provide an excellent standard of clinical services in a primary care setting, whilst supporting personal and professional development, along with a competitive level of income. You must have a full driving license and be willing and able to travel around the areas detailed above.
A job description and person specification for this role is available from Natalie Coils, HR Administrator, IntraHealth Ltd, 1st Floor, William Brown Centre, Manor Way, Peterlee, Co. Durham, SR8 5TW or email: recruitment@intrahealth.co.uk.
To apply for this role, please send your detailed CV, covering letter and the name of 2 referees to the above e-mail address .
