Is able to relate well to children with additional needs, supporting them to regulate their feelings and emotions
Leads by example and motivates children and colleagues
Is creative, innovative, and committed to continuous improvement
Is ready to take on a rewarding challenge with real impact
Has an NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
Has Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to Level 1 of the National Qualification & Credit Framework
Completed Department for Education Teaching Assistant Induction Programme (or to complete within first term)
Has a full and relevant qualification accepted by the Department for Education (DfE) to work in an early years setting
Has a secure knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Statutory Framework.
Displays good understanding of a child's development and learning.
Has experience of developing learning resources that scaffold and support learning
Demonstrates effective communication skills to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers
