Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work within one of the Cheshire Mental Health Support Team's (MHST) based in Cheshire East and Cheshire West. We are incredibly excited to be a further part of this exciting and ambitious national programme which aims to give increased mental health provision to selected schools within an identified area., We are now in the fortunate position to offer a two year training contract for 2 Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioners. The training takes place in year one and all trainees will access Post Graduate Diploma which is based on a national curriculum. On completion of year one successful applicants will be regraded to NHS band 5 for a further clinical year to consolidate learning and clinical skills.

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) provides health and care services for a population of over one million people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care, as well as the provision of three GP surgeries in Cheshire.

We employ around 4,500 staff across 73 sites and have services across Wirral and Cheshire, as well as Trafford, Warrington, Bolton, Halton and Liverpool. We also provide specialist services for the North West as a whole.
