Your Role in Building Brighter Futures As an HLTA at Tickenham Church of England Primary School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura's mission statement of "Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish". Tickenham Church of England Primary School is a small, welcoming school that prides itself on a strong sense of community and a commitment to excellence. We focus on nurturing curiosity, creativity, and resilience in our pupils, ensuring they receive a well-rounded education grounded in our Christian values. As an HLTA, you will be responsible for:
- Covering PPA sessions across the whole school and providing feedback to pupils and teachers.
- Under the direction of the class teacher, planning and delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
- Creating a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment where pupils feel supported and encouraged to develop both academically and personally.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate HLTA who: - Has a good general education (5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above).
- Holds HLTA status or Qualified Teacher Status.
- Has a minimum of 2 years' experience supporting children in a classroom setting.
- Understands the principles of child development and the barriers to learning.
- Can use a range of strategies to support pupils with additional needs.
- Is an effective communicator with both pupils and adults.
- Has strong ICT skills and the ability to support learning through technology.
- Demonstrates initiative, collaboration, and a commitment to professional development.
- Demonstrates a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community.
- Aligns with our trust-wide values by bringing a positive, collaborative approach to their work and a willingness to continuously develop professionally.
