Are you experienced in repair and maintenance within a laboratory or technical facility? We're looking for a hands-on Facilities Technician to join Weir and play a key role in supporting our technical and testing operations. What you'll do

Equipment & Test Rig Operations: Maintain, service, and adapt equipment and test rigs daily to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
Test Work & Data Collection: Conduct pilot plant and equipment test work, accurately collecting and tabulating results for engineering review.
Laboratory & Sample Preparation: Prepare samples and perform laboratory testing, including particle size analysis and rheological characterisation.
Fabrication & Installation: Carry out basic metal fabrication and assist with the setup and installation of new or modified equipment.
Materials, Safety & Improvement: Manage materials and documentation in line with company procedures, contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives, with work primarily onsite at the Clayton facility.

Minimum of two years relevant industry experience.
Mechanical skills including basic metal fabrication and use of hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Experience in mineral processing or related industries.
Familiarity with laboratory testing techniques such as particle size analysis.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
