Barlborough Medical Practice are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and caring HCA to join our team. You will be working alongside our clinical team providing high quality care and services to our patients. You may also be required to work at our branch site in Renishaw. Main duties of the job

Blood taking is the main role in morning clinics.
Blood pressure checks
Height, weight, BMI
ECGs
Spirometry (preferred but not essential)
B12 injections
Flu immunisations.
Diabetic checks including foot check
INR check using point of care INR machine (training can be given) - home visits for INR also.
BLS training.
assist Clinicians where needed.
Proactively assist with QOF achievements.
Assist with stock checks, equipment check and ordering, Blood taking

Manage and assess risk within the areas of responsibility, ensuring adequate measures are in place to protect staff and patients

Must have experience working as a HCA in General Practice. Please do not apply if not.
Experience with System one and QOF recall and admin processes.
Health Care Assistant qualification, care certificate
Phlebotomy certificate
