Undertaking field survey work for a range of ecological projects including; Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, a range of protected species surveys and Biodiversity Net Gain Assessments
Production of technical reports, survey documentation and mitigation strategies
Supporting senior colleagues with the production of Ecological Impact Assessments, Habitat Regulations Assessments and Habitat Management and Monitoring Plans
Liasing with clients, contractors and project teams with confidence when required
Assisting with project management, including working to deadlines and project finances
Providing ecological advice and support to other decisions within Maydencroft Limited
Maintaining accurate field data and ensuring high standards of quality and attention to detail
Supporting seasonal staff where required

A degree in ecology or related subject
At least two years' experience working within ecological consultancy or a related discipline
FISC Level 3 minimum
Member of CIEEM - Associate level desirable
Good understanding of legislation and protected species guidance
Experience undertaking habitat surveys and protected species surveys
Substantial field survey experience
Excellent report-writing skill
Experience with GIS software
Confidence and ability to communicate in a professional manner
Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel, FISC Level 4+
Protected species licences
Project management experience
Understanding of UK planning system and experience undertaking work to support development projects
