Perform key activities relating to the month-end consolidation and close, and be responsible for the accuracy of key balance sheet items across the group by working with the wider finance team to drive the month-end process and ensure tasks are completed to a high quality and on time;
Prepare monthly files for journal postings and submission of journals for internal approval, ensuring supporting files are SOX compliant
Prepare the submission of monthly and quarterly reporting packages to the parent company;
Produce financial reporting disclosures for subsidiary financial statements;
Prepare for external audits and internal reviews by working closely with our auditors and ensuring that deliverables are prepared accurately and within set deadlines;
Be responsible for the preparation of key controls; ensuring that these are operating effectively; and
Have close interactions with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including entity finance teams, Finance Business Partners, Tax and Treasury, and internal and external audit.

Are you ready to accelerate your potential and make a real difference within life sciences, diagnostics and biotechnology?, Having a professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) and experience working within or auditing large, listed multinational businesses, with strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of IFRS;
Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to prioritise tasks for multiple stakeholders set to deadlines
Self-starter and intellectually curious, with a capacity to work in a high growth, fast-paced environment whilst being a team player;
Strong excel skills including the ability to reconcile and summarise large volumes of data
Experience of Oracle and consolidation systems (HFM / FCCS)
Experience of US GAAP accounting and standards
