Digital Sales Executive (Early Careers) - German Speaking

Location: IFS offices, Staines Upon Thames

Salary: 45k per annum + commission

Application Deadline: 2026-12-30T03:01:49.487

Overview

IFS is transforming the way its customers work - and the company is looking for ambitious, resilient, and curious individuals to join its new Digital Sales Executive (DSE) cohort. This is not a maintenance role. This is a sales role with teeth. DSEs take charge of existing customer accounts, reignite stalled upgrade conversations, and close deals that bring customers onto the latest IFS platform.

What DSEs do:

Create urgency: explain the risks of staying on legacy - tech debt, cost, security, supportability.

Build the value story: show CFOs and CIOs why upgrading now pays off.

Engage the right people: from procurement to business leaders, mapping champions and blockers.

Drive outcomes: protect renewals, expand accounts, and grow revenue.

The ideal DSE:

"IFS is focused on people, not just backgrounds. They are looking for potential, behaviours, and mindset."

The right candidates will demonstrate:

Hungry, resilient, and confident in high-stakes conversations.

Curious, coachable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communicators who can simplify complexity and write with impact.

Comfortable being stretched and figuring things out with team support.

Multilingual (Nordic, German, French, or Spanish preferred), though exceptional English-only candidates will also be considered.

Why this role matters:

This is the frontline of IFS's customer transformation. DSEs are the ones who convince customers to act, shape the commercial conversation, and protect the business for the future.

What IFS offers:

A cohort environment designed for collaboration, learning, and energy.

Real customer exposure and commercial responsibility from day one.

Structured training and coaching from leaders who know what it takes to win.

Clear progression opportunities into senior sales roles and beyond.

IFS is not asking for perfection. It is asking for ambition, confidence, and resilience. For those who bring the right mindset, this is the launchpad into a career in technology sales.
