Job Introduction
Horizon Care and Education have an opportunity for a Bank Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team.
Candidates must hold a level 3 in Children's and Young Peoples workforce qualification for this role and hold a full UK driving licence .

About the role: As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will support young people in the many different aspects of daily life within our homes including:

- Helping young people continue with hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and learn new skills..
- Supporting young people to reach their potential and experience new opportunities.
- Conducting Supervisions for staff members
- Manage the home effectively in the absence of the Deputy or Manager
-
- Effectively lead shifts, direct and support colleagues
- Manage health and safety processes in the home including the implementation and monitoring of risk assessments
- To support the induction of colleagues into the home
- To be responsible for safeguarding and actively promoting the welfare of children and young people
