If you enjoy being on the phone, thrive in a fast-paced environment and want a role where results are rewarded without a ceiling, this is for you. We're hiring Business Development Executives to join our growing outbound B2B sales team.

Whether you have a few years of telesales behind you or you're early in your career with real drive, we'll back you with training, coaching and a clear path to progress.

About us

National Business Communications helps UK businesses communicate smarter. We provide VoIP, business broadband, leased lines and unified communications to SMEs across the country. We're growing quickly, investing heavily in our sales team, and building a high-performance culture for people who want strong commission, real progression and a supportive team around them.

The role

This is a high-activity, phone-based outbound sales role. You'll spend most of your day speaking with business owners and decision-makers, uncovering telecom needs, opening opportunities and closing new business. Success here comes from consistency, resilience and call volume, and the more you put in, the more you earn.

A typical day looks like:

Calling a mix of cold lists / warm leads / lapsed prospects

Follow-ups, Email outreach and asking for referrals

Updating your pipeline in the CRM

Team huddles, call coaching and sharing what's working

Key responsibilities

Make high-volume outbound calls to UK businesses

Speak with owners and senior decision-makers to identify their communication needs

Sell VoIP, business broadband, leased lines and unified communications

Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to close

Keep your pipeline accurate and up to date in the CRM

Hit and exceed monthly targets

Hand closed deals over smoothly to our onboarding and support teams

What we're looking for

Essential

Comfort making a high volume of outbound calls

Resilience and a positive response to rejection

Confidence speaking with business owners and senior people

Motivation from targets and commission

Organisation and self-discipline in managing your own pipeline

Coachability and a willingness to learn

Ideal

2 to 5 years of B2B outbound sales or telesales experience

A track record you can back with numbers

Telecoms, energy, merchant services or similar background (helpful, not required)

No experience? No problem. If you're earlier in your career but bring the right attitude, we'll train you.

Backgrounds in hospitality, retail, recruitment, lettings or competitive sport often make excellent sales people.

What's in it for you

Base salary Up to £35,000 depending on experience

Uncapped commission with a clear OTE of £75,000+ and top performers earn well beyond it

Full product and sales training, scripts and ongoing call coaching

Clear progression to Senior BDE or Account Manager

A strong product range with proven demand

CRM and sales tools built for outbound

Incentives, bonuses and team rewards

Pension, holiday entitlement and wellbeing support

National Business Communications is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all backgrounds.
