Full Job Description

The role of the Cancer Services MDT Co-ordinator is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Cancer Services Department. Primarily this will include; collecting, recording, analysing, interpreting and reporting statistical data which is required in Welsh Assembly Government monitoring of the Service and Financial Framework (SaFF) annual targets. To be responsible for providing an accurate and timely account of the entire patient pathway on the National Cancer Database., To manage, co-ordinate, organise and deliver designated cancer site-specific Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings in relation to the presentation, diagnosis, staging and definitive management of all newly diagnosed cancer patients in Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust. To provide cover for other Cancer MDT co-ordinators as required.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
