Join us and become part of a team dedicated to making a positive difference in our community., The Band 5 Registered Practitioner requires a broad knowledge and skill base including communication and team working skills, in order that they contribute to the smooth running of the theatre department.
The Band 5 Registered Practitioner will actively seek out learning opportunities for both self and others, providing support and assessment to junior members of the team and NVQ candidates.
The Band 5 Theatre Practitioner will rotate through each speciality in order to gain experience and to develop the necessary skills to participate effectively in the 24hr service as required.
As with all other members of staff, the Band 5 Theatre Practitioner must perform within their scope of practice and not exceed the boundaries of competence. They will remain accountable for their actions and omissions.
In the absence of senior staff, the Band 5 Theatre Practitioner will oversee the running of the list whilst promoting a positive standard of healthcare to patients, relatives, carers and staff.
