Our prestigious and newly opened Van Centre based in Tipton is currently looking for a qualified Van Technician Supervisor with excellent diagnostic and mechanical skills to work a set shift:

Working 45 hours Mon-Fri on an alternating shift pattern of 07.00 - 16.30 and 08.30 - 18.00 with alternate Saturday' mornings

Paying to £54,000 £23.00pr hr) dependent on Van Technical skills with Supervisory experience

Flexibility will be required

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

Supervise the shift technicians and co-ordinate workload
Liaise with the Van Centre Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI's etc
Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
Participation in call out and breakdown rota - if/when required
Ability to use diagnostic equipment
Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
Complete job cards clearly and accurately

Essential Qualifications and Knowledge

C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification
Electrical and Mechanical skills and experience
Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
Clean Driving Licence - HGV would be an advantage
