We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Flexographic Printer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in print production. You will learn how to operate advanced flexographic printing equipment, including a 10-colour narrow web servo-driven press, while working alongside experienced printers. Full training and support will be provided as you develop the skills required to become a qualified Flexographic Printer.,

Assist in preparing printing presses for production runs
Learn to operate and monitor flexographic printing machines
Support with maintaining inks and solvents according to job specifications
Help identify and report printing issues or equipment faults
Work towards achieving production speed and quality targets
Follow all quality control and assurance procedures
Maintain accurate production records
Support continuous improvement in processes to reduce downtime and waste
Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively within the team
Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

A strong interest in print, engineering, or manufacturing
Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Basic IT skills (training on systems will be provided)
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Awareness of flexographic printing
Understanding of quality standards such as SEDEX or ETI
