You will support students aged 11-19 with a range of special educational needs, including autism, challenging behaviours, and learning disabilities. Working both in class and on a one-to-one basis, you'll play a key role in supporting learning, behaviour, and emotional development.,

Supporting students in lessons and through tailored interventions
Promoting positive behaviour and implementing de-escalation strategies
Encouraging social and emotional development
Working closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging learning activities
Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive environment

Holds a relevant qualification in education, childcare, or SEN support (essential)
Has recent experience supporting children or young people with SEN
Confident in behaviour management and able to remain calm under pressure
Passionate, proactive, and adaptable in approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Minimum of two references covering the last two years (including one child-based reference)
