Full Job Description
As a senior accountant, you'll be a leading part of the financial reporting team. In addition to ensuring that the senior management team have quality accounts, budgets and forecast, you'll need to advise on the effect that changes to our operations have on the business and recommend approaches. As a line manager of part-qualified accountants you'll play a key role supporting their career development, instilling a positive culture and clear communication.
Excellent Excel and financial modelling abilities
Qualified in a professional accountancy qualification e.g. ACA/CIMA/ACCA with 2yr+ PQE
Line management experience & passion for developing others
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence

As our Finance Business Partner, you'll help shape Riverford's future.
You'll be joining us at the start of a new 5 year action plan, so changes are afoot! This is a great opportunity to be involved in an expanding and fast-moving business. It goes without saying that you will need to have a passion for all things numerical., Hours - This is a permanent position. The role is 40 hours per week. Based at our Headquarters at Wash Farm in Devon, near Buckfastleigh, with hybrid working after an initial period of training.
Salary - Circa £59,000, per annum
What You'll Bring…
Business Partner the Senior Leadership Team to understand and influence the way Riverford manages its income and costs. Work with the commercial and operations team to understand income and cost drivers and support and challenge effectively.
Lead the annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes.
Provide financial insight into business cases, investments, and new initiatives and develop financial business cases.
Identify and lead continuous improvement activities across processes, data and reporting
