Full Job Description
Roseberry Park Hospital has an exciting opportunity within Secure Inpatient Services/ Ridgeway for both Qualified
- and Trainee Healthcare Assistants. Within this role you will be working within the facility which has been carefully designed and constructed to meet the very specific needs of the services. We have 15 wards covering assessment and rehabilitation in both mental health and learning disabilities. There are opportunities to work within both male and female, medium and low secure wards (cannot guarantee a specific ward if successful). You will be required to be innovative, flexible and able to engage service users and their carers. Strong team working principles are essential; you will work with a variety of people as well as work in partnership with a range of disciplines and providers both internal and external to the service. We pride ourselves in providing a high standard of care within a multi-disciplinary approach and feel we are progressive and forward thinking, seeking to improve our services., This is an exciting and challenging role and will afford the opportunity to work as part of a supportive team that is focused on delivering high standards of care through evidenced based practice. We will support you by offering regular supervision, training opportunities and encourage your development and role within this team on the delivery of Patient Centred Care, support for carers and evidence based practice, working in a whole systems approach with our partner agencies. Main Duties of the role is supporting the wards in delivering excellent patient care and assisting the Nurse in Charge in completing nursing tasks / jobs and care rounds / observations.
