Your Role in Our Family

Effectively secure new accounts from the Global marketplace and thereafter, manage and develop accounts to agreed targets for Sopwell House.

Effectively manage and develop a portfolio of network accounts to drive more revenue to the business.

Develop and establish relationships with all Business Travel Agents, Consortia, Hotel Booking Agents, MICE, Corporate, Wholesalers, Tour Operators, and Call Centres where appropriate.

Develop new business opportunities to secure new accounts from the global marketplace.

Assist in networking within our GDS supplier.

Utilise technology to create various databases and conduct regular electronic mailings to the marketplaces.

Review web opportunities to maximise hotel exposure.

Maximise opportunities to conduct presentations and roadshows in the national and global marketplace.

Maintain ongoing awareness of negotiations and liaise with agents as appropriate.

Monitor account performance monthly and update action plans as needed.

Review accounts quarterly with clients and adjust strategies accordingly.

Analyze competitor activity and take action to protect business.

Organise and host familiarisation visits and corporate hospitality events as required.

Represent the hotel at exhibitions, trade shows, and similar events, as well as with professional bodies and organisations.

Monitor account administration including database management, RFP completion, rate collation, contract issuance, rate loading, and tracking.

Handle complaints or queries promptly, ensuring thorough follow-up with Hotel Management.
