Full Job Description

We have an amazing opportunity for 8 Trainee PWPs to join our services across Staffordshire. We have 3 vacancies in Cannock, 3 vacancies in Stafford and 2 vacancies in Tamworth. This exciting role has been developed to support patient care and NHS service delivery. Please specify which location you would like to be considered for in your application, and in the HE (Higher Education) application form, which needs to be completed to apply for the roles available., Duties to include

  • Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service. Undertake patient-centred interviews which identifies areas where the person wishes to see change and or recovery and makes an accurate assessment of risk to self and others. Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the department's referral protocols, refers unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary or steps-up the person's treatment to high intensity psychological therapy.
