Examinations Officer

Required from September 2025

Hours: 30 per week annualised across the school year. Term time only, plus 5 training days.

Salary: NJC points 12-17 £19,736 - £21,409 per annum (pay award pending).

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Examinations Officer to join our team. This is a vital role ensuring the smooth running of all internal and external examinations at the school, supporting both pupils and staff.

Are you:

• Highly organised with excellent time management and communication skills?
• Calm under pressure and attentive to detail?
• Experienced in handling confidential data and proficient using IT systems and software?
• Proficient in complex and regulatory administration?
• Proactive and adaptable and able to problem solve?
• Flexible, as during exam periods they will be long working weeks?

Experience of working in a school or as an examinations officer is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
