Richard Taunton Sixth Form College is seeking an inspirational Teacher of Foundation Learning to support students working at Entry Level and Level 1, many of whom require additional structure, guidance and support.

This is a part-time permanent contract for 16.5 hours teaching hours due to start September 2026.

Salary: Sixth Form Teacher Pay Scale - Spine Point 1-9 - £33,465-£51,714 FTE (dependent on experience)

You will deliver a broad and flexible curriculum focused on:

Core skills development
Personal and social development
Preparation for further study, employment or independence

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with students requiring additional learning support
Be adaptable, patient and highly organised
Use creative approaches to engage and motivate learners
Work closely with support staff and external agencies

This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and student progression.

An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
