We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of French and Spanish to join a committed and effective team of specialist teachers and who will participate fully in the life of the school. The successful applicant will teach across the full age and ability range. This is a part-time (0.4 - 0.6FTE) permanent contract to start as soon as possible (January 2027 start will be considered). The ability to teach A-Level would be a significant advantage.

Lytchett has not joined a multi-academy trust, and has no intention of doing so, because it values its independence as a secondary school which serves its local community and produces outstanding outcomes for its students.

The department is welcoming and will ensure that the successful candidate receives appropriate induction, training and support. We pride ourselves on our strong induction systems which new colleagues always value highly. We also have well developed performance management systems, and a range of professional development opportunities are available such as leadership training and twilight inset sessions.
