We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team on a fixed-term, 12-month contract. This role would suit someone with solid, hands-on accounts experience who can hit the ground running and quickly get to grips with our processes. Working closely with the Accounts Manager, you'll support sales, purchase and general ledger transactions - from fee collection and supplier invoicing to month-end reconciliations and budget reporting. About You

Previous accounts experience, ideally including credit control and monthly reconciliations
Good understanding of basic accounting principles
Strong Excel and MS Office skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with parents and suppliers
Able to work reliably and independently from day one
GCSE-level education (or equivalent); AAT Level 2 or bookkeeping qualification desirable
Previous experience in a school finance team is a plus
