Chilypep are recruiting!Chilypep is looking for an energetic, compassionate, and experienced Triage & 1-2-1 Project Worker to join our delivery team at HOME (Help with Our Mental 'Ealth), our Early Support Hub for young people aged 11 - 25 years in Barnsley. The ideal candidate will understand a wide range of mental health issues experienced by children and young people and the knowledge and experience of how to appropriately respond to these creatively.The Triage and 1-2-1 Project Worker is a key role within the HOME team as it is one of the first points of contact for young people, parents, carers, and professionals who refer to HOME. Working alongside the HOME Programme Coordinator and delivery team, this role will be at the forefront of receiving referrals and following the day-to-day HOME referral process, including logging them on Lamplight and responding to them in a timely fashion. Where necessary, this post will work with young people on a 1-2-1 basis if, where we consider
they need some short-term support to be able to access HOME's wellbeing group programme or external services. The right candidate will need to be extremely organised, be able to manage their time effectively and have excellent administrative and IT skills.We are seeking a thoughtful and flexible practitioner who places young people and their welfare at the heart of their practice and have a compassionate, relational approach.
