Follow and be aware of the departmental Standard Operating Procedures, training will be provided to ensure you are fully up to date with all the current SOPs.

The role will involve using the computer to book in cattle, handling and movement of cattle, with a strong focus on animal welfare. No previous experience is necessary as all training will be provided, although a good work ethic and strong attendance record is a must. Some flexibility will be required and there is a current call out rota in place which is distributed fairly between the team., Full UK Driving License & Access to a vehicle is preferrable as we are in a rural location with little access to public transport

We are looking for the right person to join our established and experienced Lairage department at Dunbia West Devon. There is a shift pattern on alternating weeks after training is complete, Week 1 Mon - Fri, week 2 Mon - Thurs & Sun.
