Hayesfield Girls' School is seeking to appoint a professional and welcoming Receptionist to join our busy school office. As the first point of contact for parents, students, and visitors, you will act as a key ambassador for the school. You will provide high-quality administrative support, ensuring the front-of-house service is friendly, efficient, and professional at all times.,

Reception & Customer Focus: Act as the first point of reference for all callers and visitors, resolving enquiries with a helpful and professional manner.
School Administration: Provide comprehensive admin support, including managing parent communications, maintaining notice boards, and assisting with school publications.
Data & Systems: Maintain student databases (Arbor) and attendance registers, ensuring pupil records are accurate and confidential.
Safety & First Aid: Undergo First Aid training to assist students and staff. Act as a coordinator during fire emergencies by managing registers and liaising with the Senior Leadership Team.
Safeguarding: Maintain a secure site by managing the visitor log and ensuring all contractors and guests are appropriately identified.

Education: Good general education including GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
Experience: Proven experience working in a busy office environment with a strong customer service ethos.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with a confident and professional telephone manner.
IT Skills: Strong IT literacy with experience using spreadsheets and general office software.
Personal Attributes: Ability to work under pressure, use initiative, and maintain professional integrity and confidentiality at all times.
Experience of working within an educational environment.
Knowledge of the Arbor management information system.
Relevant qualification in Customer Service or Business Administration.
