Full Job Description

  • Need to Configure and administer tools developed by the team to accommodate all changes required by the business.
  • Create new projects, sites, apps, templates, and assets in line with brand guidelines and business requirements.
  • Manage user access to team resources, ensure that any defined workflows are used.
  • Configure personalization tools, creating new rules to support sales activity.
  • Provide user training to colleagues and business contributors to support the use of developments produced.
  • Liaise with business users to identify, specify and document development requirements.
  • Recommend solutions that meet customer needs, ensuring business users understand all aspects of the proposed solutions
  • Create effective information architecture models, defining information relationships & site navigation, ensuring this matches customer journeys to drive agreed digital outcomes.
  • Support in the development and execution of user-research, creating prototypes, analysing & reporting findings
  • Design and code innovative & engaging digital experiences (Omni-channel) to support corporate sales targets, marketing campaigns and other business requirements, from taking an initial brief through to final implementation of the site.
  • Ensure all code meets agreed standards, is clean, well structured, semantically correct, and SEO/app store friendly.
  • Code engaging user interfaces using both client & Server Side Scripting to improve customer experience across Group digital experiences.
  • Provide support & technical expertise to other colleagues managing these technologies
  • Perform unit testing to ensure any solutions developed conform to the specified requirements. Resolve any conflicts and errors that occur.
  • Create banners, icons, and other design elements, in line with our brand guidelines, to support and improve Group websites and comply with regulatory & legal requirements.
  • Challenge, where appropriate, existing processes and ways of working to improve team efficiency and to increase productivity

    A strong technical background with proficiency in Front End development technologies eg Javascript
  • Proven track record of designing & building usable and engaging digital experiences, demonstrating the ability to balance attractive visuals with commercial effectiveness, functionality & usability
  • Expert in using prototyping and development tools(eg Adobe Creative Cloud applications, Sketch, Invision, etc)
  • Excellent understanding of modern enterprise web content management systems, including implementation, maintenance and ongoing development
  • In depth understanding of the digital user interface - information architecture, interaction design, functionality and usability (including user research and user testing)
