No two days are the same! You'll play a vital role in supporting children's learning, confidence and wellbeing by:

Helping children understand and access learning activities.
Encouraging independence whilst providing appropriate support and guidance.
Supporting learning across a range of subjects including phonics, reading, writing and mathematics.
Delivering targeted interventions and supporting individuals and small groups.
Helping children develop confidence, resilience and positive self-esteem.
Making informal observations and celebrating children's achievements.
Supporting the implementation of individual provision plans and personalised learning strategies.
Working closely with teachers to create engaging resources and learning opportunities.
Support the planning and delivery of learning activities.
Lead interventions that help children make excellent progress.
Provide regular feedback to teachers about children's learning and development.
Assist with classroom organisation, displays and resources.
Contribute to staff duties and wider school life.
Participate in cover arrangements when required.
Support children's personal, medical or emotional needs where appropriate.
Have opportunities to teach and lead learning with whole classes.

We are seeking someone who:
Has experience working with primary-aged children (experience is essential).
Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum.
Has strong knowledge of the teaching of phonics.
Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Is enthusiastic, proactive and enjoys being part of a team.
Has high expectations for all children and believes every child can succeed.
