Full Job Description
Full Time (Part Time considered) Teacher of Art required for September 2025 "Every child is an artist" said Picasso and this is a philosophy that we very much adhere to. We are a 'Good' school (Ofsted 2022) with great students and ambitious, talented staff. We are also a friendly place to work where every student and member of staff is a valued member of our community. Ofsted commented that "Leaders and teachers know their pupils well and work together to raise aspirations and support them to achieve their goals." Art is central to our curriculum and the successful candidate will be joining a small but very ambitious and enthusiastic team which is well-resourced. Art is becoming increasingly popular subject, so the successful candidate will need to be able to teach Art to GCSE. Each classroom is complete with Clevertouch interactive screen and visualiser and the department also has a specialist kiln and a darkroom. The subject area is supported by a technician.
