Full Job Description
We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic individual to deal with a varied case load of enforcement investigations within our highly valued and high profile enforcement team. You will be responsible for establishing whether a breach of planning control has occurred, assisting the Council to decide an appropriate course of action to resolve breaches of planning control and taking responsibility for any pursuant appeal or court work. We routinely make use of the wide Enforcement powers available to the Council and so this is a great opportunity to gain broad experience. The post will also provide general advice on all planning matters including 'permitted development' and by telephone, correspondence and to visiting members when necessary. You must be well organised and committed to excellent customer care. This is a career graded post, starting salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
