Introduction Are you passionate about changing the lives of children and young people? Lewisham's Integrated Adolescent Service is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Youth Justice Practitioner to join our ambitious and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with children involved in, or at risk of entering, the criminal justice system, supporting those affected by exploitation, trauma, extra-familial harm and other complex challenges. What's the role? As a case-holding practitioner, you will undertake assessments, develop intervention and safety plans, manage risk and safeguarding concerns, coordinate multi-agency responses, and deliver evidence-based interventions that help children reduce offending, improve wellbeing and achieve positive outcomes. You will also contribute to court and panel processes through high-quality report writing, professional judgement and effective partnership working.

  • Professional Certificate in effective practice (P.C.E.P.) or equivalent training / experience including a Youth and Community qualification
  • Social work qualification
  • Good general education with good standard of literacy and numeracy
  • The job is subject to an enhanced DBS check
