Full Job Description
What You'll Be Doing You'll work directly with young people aged 16+ who are experiencing difficulties related to drug and alcohol use, helping them make safer choices and achieve positive outcomes. The role includes:
- Building trusted relationships with young people and families
- Completing assessments and creating tailored support plans
- Delivering one-to-one and group interventions
- Supporting young people in schools, communities and other outreach settings
- Identifying and managing risk and safeguarding concerns
- Working closely with partner agencies and professionals
- Delivering training and raising awareness around issues affecting young people
- Maintaining accurate and timely case records, Experience of working with young people, safeguarding, adolescent development, substance use or related issues would be beneficial, but most importantly we're looking for someone who shares our values and commitment to making a difference.
