Young Person Facilities Management, Work Experience Placement - Derby, 13th-16th July 2026

Get an inside look at how we manage and maintain our sites to keep them safe, compliant, and running smoothly. In this placement, you'll join our Facilities Management (FM) team and see how we look after buildings, workspaces, and the people who use them. You'll take part in regular site walks, learning how we check everything from safety standards to day-to-day operations, and see how we work with different teams to keep sites in great condition.

Young people aged 14-18 who are interested in gaining hands-on experience of the world of work and exploring future career opportunities. This placement is ideal for those who are curious, willing to learn, and keen to build confidence in a professional environment. Whether you already have a career in mind or are still exploring your options, this is a great opportunity to try something new, develop key skills, and get a real insight into how teams work day to day. No previous experience is needed-just a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved!,
