Yoga Tutor (Variable Hours)

We are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable Yoga Tutor with a strong focus on Chair Yoga to join our wellbeing and movement education team. This role involves delivering inclusive, accessible yoga sessions, helping participants build strength, flexibility, and mind-body awareness in a safe and supportive environment. As a tutor, you will design and lead classes that prioritize breathwork, gentle movement, and relaxation techniques, while adapting practices to meet a wide range of physical abilities. Your ability to create a warm, respectful atmosphere will be essential in empowering students to explore the benefits of yoga at their own pace. We have a large cohort of SEND students, if you have experience teaching SEND students this would be advantageous but not essential.

You will be able to deliver engaging learning sessions for a range of learner groups and ability levels, ensuring high levels of learner satisfaction with the College and its services. You will be able to discuss ideas for developing and promoting sessions/courses to increase learner numbers and attract new learner groups with the programme manager.

You will be able to undertake assessment, educational guidance, preparation of learning materials and assignments, feedback and marking of students' work, and administration of own courses. You will have English and Maths minimum Level 2 qualifications, and a qualification or industry experience in your specialist area.
