YJS Team Manager

This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity to lead meaningful change for children, families and victims of crime. As a Youth Justice Service Team Manager in Walsall, you will play a central role in supporting service priorities during this period, shaping how we respond to children who are often facing the most complex challenges, helping to reduce harm, promote safety and support long-term positive outcomes.

We are looking for a confident and values-driven leader who can make an immediate contribution, is committed to Child First practice, partnership working and continuous improvement, and who wants to contribute to a service that is ambitious, reflective and focused on making a tangible difference every day., Note: Applicants appointed to posts that require an enhanced DBS clearance must declare any periods of time that they have lived, studied or worked abroad and be prepared to provide an Overseas Criminal Records Certificate (OCRC) or a Statement of Good Conduct (SOGC) relating to anytime they were overseas.

This post is covered by the Government's Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
